Workplace experiences

We partner with organisations to deliver inspiring, hands-on experiences that open young minds to the possibilities of a future in technology.

Working together with industry

We pride ourselves on our ability to tailor what we do with our different partners to ensure that we build charity partnerships that both are of genuine benefit to organisations and further Tech She Can’s mission. We routinely deliver experiences for our funding partners that reaches those students that need us the most.

We can create, design and deliver early talent experiences bespoke for our partners needs and see impact in the interventions we deliver.

Together, we can deliver moments that matter, throughout student‘s education, that equip them for the careers of the future. Get in touch with us if you’d like to discuss funding a workplace experience with us.

This is what our students, teachers and partners say about us:

Careers Insight Days (11-14yrs)

These experiences literally open the doors of your offices, offering secondary-age students from schools in disadvantaged areas an immersive, behind the scenes experience, and practical careers guidance. We run these days before the critical point of GCSE selection, and we focus specifically on students who meet some of the following criteria, ensuring we reach those who need these interventions most.  Find out more here

Tech-enriched workshops (11-14yrs)

Through our tech-enriched school workshops, our teachers bring real technology into classrooms through hands-on creative activities to show how technology shapes the world and how the students can be a part of this. These are also fantastic opportunities for industry employees to join us as real-life role models in the classroom or workplace.

Work experience programmes (14-16yrs)

Our work experience programme offers an industry-relevant, curated programme that is specifically designed to meet the latest careers guidance for schools. This flexible programme meets the business goals of organisations, without excessive involvement from staff. The programme is designed to be delivered virtually, allowing scale, and delivering outcomes that are industry-relevant. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you how we could collaborate to provide a much needed work experience programme to those that wouldn’t usually find and access these experiences.

Career Discovery Days (16-18yrs)

Our discovery days offer companies the opportunity to connect with a small number of students in an immersive, behind the scenes experience and practical guidance that directly showcases to the Early Careers opportunities and what would be required to apply - as well as inspiring the participants that this is an aspirational goal for them. By opening your doors to young people - particularly girls and underrepresented groups - you’ll help them explore the exciting possibilities of a career in tech, meet inspiring role models, and see how their passions and skills can translate into future opportunities. These experiences can include workplace tours, hands-on activities, and insights into your tech-focused roles and apprenticeships, all designed to spark curiosity and confidence.

Career Discovery Pathways (16-18yrs)

We work with partners to create pathways to work programmes for school leavers ready to continue their education journey.  These multi step programmes are designed to create a direct pipeline into early talent opportunities at your organisations e.g. apprenticeships. With our partners we focus on diversifying the pipeline for their early talent programmes with a particular focus on gender and social mobility diversity.
