2024/25 impact
We have now reached audiences over a million times through our free Tech We Can lessons, resources and workplace experiences. From classrooms to careers, we’ve shown what’s possible when education and industry come together with a shared purpose.
We cannot achieve this level of reach and impact without the funding and support from our partners to provide these fantastic resources and experiences for FREE for schools and young children, particularly those from underrepresented groups and low socioeconomic backgrounds. So a heartfelt thank you from us all at Tech She Can for continuing to support our mission that technology should be for all.
As we look forward to 2026 and beyond, we’re proud of what we have achieved together so far and the incredible, unique experiences and opportunities we can provide to more children - but there’s more to do! Thank you for believing in our mission, sharing our values, and helping us create a world where everyone, everywhere, can see themselves in tech.

Educational ‘Tech We Can’ resources
This year, our Tech We Can LIVE Lessons and Assemblies - sponsored by partners including Accenture, Lloyds Banking Group, Quickline, Eduthing, RAFCT, and Deutsche Bank - reached record audiences.
Our Cyber Security LIVE lesson on Safer Internet Day engaged 60,000+ students live, with another 20,000 on-demand.
We now offer 17 Katie & Tex animations, viewed 270,000+ times globally, helping children aged 5–11 explore topics like AI for Recycling, Biometrics, and WiFi.
In-School Experiences
Our regional based teachers in Coventry (with Coventry Building Society) and Yorkshire (with Quickline) continue to deliver in-person lessons to the same cohorts over multiple years - creating a long-term impact.
Students are showing real change: 70% of students in our programme in Yorkshire - compared to 22% before any intervention, and 60% of students in our programme in Coventry - compared to 24% before.
“It was good because I got to have fun with my friends while learning about technology. This was very good - keep it up!" - Student

Workplace Experiences
Over the past four years, we’ve hosted 22 Careers Insight Days, with 650+ girls benefiting from real-world tech exposure at partners such as HSBC, Kraken, Morgan Stanley, and Paragon Bank.
This year saw our first Careers Discovery Day with Barclays - supporting older students exploring apprenticeships - with 75% of attendees inspired to apply compared to only 45% before.
Quote: "Very in depth and interactive. I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted and everyone involved was really helpful and friendly" - Student

Teacher Development
Through our Infosys partnership, we’ve delivered CPD training to 610 UK teachers, empowering educators with the knowledge and confidence to teach tech-driven topics across the curriculum.
"Thanks for a great session, I’ve never really thought about the ins and outs of the internet so it’s been great CPD for me!" - Teacher

Our first Summit!
We hosted our first Girls in AI Summit with Accenture, bringing together 224 girls from Manchester and partners including Barclays, Microsoft, Chanel, Nvidia and OpenAI.
After attending the Girls in AI summit, 99% of students were able to describe what AI is/does (compared to only 10% before) and over 90% said that young people’s thoughts should be considered when creating and developing AI (an increase from 78% before). Anecdotally, we saw an increase in the number of girls wanting to take Computer Science GCSE after the event.
Quote: I’ve been planning trips for over 20 years for students. In fact I’ve won awards for the amount of trips I have taken students on and I can hands down say this was the best trip and event I have ever taken students to! Thank you! - Teacher

IBM x Tech She Can: Making Technology Work for All
In partnership with IBM and Sane Seven, we launched Making Technology Work for All - a world-first campaign showing how technology can empower everyone.
Six girls from across the UK became tech innovators for the day, designing a robotic solution to help Kat Panagaki, a photographer paralysed after an accident, return to work. Guided by IBM volunteers, the girls adapted Spot the Robot, adding assistive controls and a mounted camera - proving how creativity, compassion, and tech can change lives.
This inspirational project reached over 500,000 people in the first month on social media and highlighted a powerful message: “Everybody should design technology because everybody uses technology.” - Alexis, 10

Industry Champions
Our Tech We Can Champions programme continues to grow - now with 800+ registered volunteers from 90+ organisations across the UK and beyond.
Champions are trained and DBS-checked to deliver Tech We Can lessons directly into classrooms, bringing real industry insight to life.
Without these amazing Champions we would not be able to reach as many children as we do!

Thank you!
