About Tech She Can
Tech She Can is a UK charity on a mission to make technology careers open to everyone – especially girls, women and young people from groups who are least likely to see themselves in tech.
We started in 2018 as the Tech She Can Charter and we became a registered charity in 2021 (no. 1195284).
Our Tech We Can programme gives schools free lessons, live assemblies, career insight days and resources, designed by teachers for teachers. Our Tech We Can Champions – volunteers from industry – bring real tech role models into classrooms across the UK. We focus on inspiring those children that need us the most, particularly girls and those from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and we work with schools, industry and government to close the gap between education and the world of tech.
We're a small, ambitious, and proactive team. Everyone here plays a direct part in changing the ratio.
