Coding Is Art: imagi’s Classroom Coding Challenge
Join imagi during the week of October 2-October 6th for a celebration of coding, creativity, and positive change!
Teaching students to code is not just about building their digital skills; it's also about unleashing their creative potential to shape the future. Now offering a freemium coding platform for educators and students, imagi is thrilled to announce its very first classroom challenge, inviting students from all corners of the globe to collaborate and code their way to creating meaningful art with Python. Whether your students are passionate about spreading kindness or saving endangered animals, we hope they will join this worldwide movement during the week of October 2-October 6 and code for positive change.
Joining the challenge is easy!
- Educators can start by creating a free imagi Edu account, adding their students, and exploring resources.
- Using the free lesson content available in the imagi Edu platform, educators can introduce students to coding basics to equip them with Python skills for art creation.
- Then, as a class, students can brainstorm a powerful message and create their pixel art together using the platform. During the week of October 2-October 6, classrooms worldwide will be coding and sharing the art using the #codingisartchallenge hashtag and tagging @imagilabs for a chance to be featured within the imagi platform and blog.
