Tech She Can returns to Bett UK2025: Bigger and Bett-er than ever!

Tech She Can is once again joining forces with Bett UK as a charity partner for the 2025 show, taking place at the Excel London in January. As one of the most significant events in the EdTech calendar, Bett provides a platform for educators and industry leaders to connect, share, and inspire. This year, we’re back and bigger than ever, and we can’t wait to showcase our work to educators, students, and innovators alike.

Last year, we were honoured that our stand won the Kids Judge Bett award for “Best Gender Equality Education Resource”! We’ll be back this year on stand SS30, on hand to discuss our mission to encourage more children, particularly girls, to pursue careers in technology. Whether you're an educator seeking resources, an industry professional looking to collaborate or volunteer, or a student curious about the endless possibilities in tech, we’d love to meet you and talk about how we can work together to build a more inclusive future.

Bett’s Big Assembly: An Unmissable Event

This year, we’re taking to the main stage with "Bett’s Big Assembly" on Thursday, 23rd January at 1:30pm

In a structure similar to our popular LIVE lessons, this exciting and interactive assembly will explore how the gaming industry has evolved and the possible future developments of gaming based on tech developments. With the rise of digital gaming, the industry has become a driving force for innovation, creativity, and technological advancement, offering a wide array of career opportunities.

Led by our expert Education team, Bett’s Big Assembly will dive into the rich history of gaming technology and how it has shaped the careers of countless technologists today.

We’re also really excited to announce that we’ll be joined on stage by Sara Cornish, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Minecraft. Sara is an amazing role model to students interested in Tech & Gaming, and she’ll be joining us to tell us all about the future of gaming at Minecraft , how games are making the world a better place and the wide range of careers linked to the gaming industry and Minecraft in particular!

Duncan Verry, Portfolio Director at Bett is looking forward to this section of the agenda, stating:

“We’re proud to be partnering with Tech She Can for Bett's Big Assembly at Bett UK 2025. This collaboration is all about making the event more engaging for students, offering them interactive sessions that dive into the exciting worlds of technology and gaming. Through our partnership, we’re helping to inspire young minds to see their futures in tech. Tech She Can’s mission to empower both boys and girls to consider careers in technology aligns perfectly with Bett’s commitment to building a diverse and dynamic future in education.”
