Teachers let your students take part in the UK Space Skills Awards Schools Competition!
We're excited to share an incredible opportunity to bring space, creativity, and real-world inspiration into your classroom.
24th June 2026 marks the inaugural UK Space Skills Awards, known as The Hazels. These awards, held in Cheltenham, will celebrate unsung heroes and exceptional individuals from the space industry đđ§âđ
The Hazels would like to invite children aged 18 and under to participate in the event through 2 competition opportunities:
đ Design the Hazels: create the official UK Space Skills Awards trophy! The winning design will be 3D printed into physical awards to present to the winners on the night.
đ€ Design a robot or piece of robotics for use in the UK space industry. An opportunity to show off your design flare and STEM skills - perhaps you will be recognised as future space industry talent.
These competition are a brilliant way to spark curiosity, build confidence, and connect your students/children to genuine career possibilities in the space sector. Exactly the kind of future-focused, skills-building experience we champion at Tech She Can.
đ Don't miss out, submit your award or robot designs here. Competition closes at 4:00pm Monday 27th April.
