Technology is used in lots of ways for live events and celebrations - from entertainment to security to transport. Many tech jobs are needed to make this happen.We’ve created a 20 minute video lesson to explain how technology will be used during the King’s Coronation Celebrations for ages 7-11. They’ll have access to all the Tech We Can learning materials.&nbsp;Brand, Comms and PR&nbsp;Featuring your organisation’s logo on the Tech She Can website. Promotion of the partnership and impact across Tech She Can social media channels.&nbsp;Fully-funded tech apprenticeships&nbsp;Opportunity to be a donor / beneficiary of surplus apprenticeship levy within the Tech She Can community - a multi-million pound pot - as we collectively aim for ‘zero waste’.&nbsp;Strengthening talent pipeline&nbsp;Tech She Can is on a mission to enrich education, create career pathways and inspire change at all levels in order to change the ration of women working in tech roles. Sign up for our Earth Day live assembly: ‘Tech for Helping the Planet’ KS2 Assembly

Earth Day Live Assembly: Tuesday 18 April 9:30am

<div>Are your students interested in technology and how it can help us protect our planet? Could they see themselves working in a green career in the future?&nbsp; </div>Join us on Tuesday 18th April at 9.30am, when our Learning Pathways and Engagement Manager (and experienced primary school teacher), Rebecca Fuller, will deliver a live virtual 30-minute Tech We Can assembly for children aged 7 - 11. Attendance for this assembly is completely FREE. <a href="https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/01acdf10-1bc3-42f0-bba4-17df0719c179@57684479-66c5-4a2c-9235-7c982d2de799">REGISTER HERE</a> Rebecca will highlight the role technology plays in helping us to protect our planet and fight climate change - and also show some of the green careers within tech that students could pursue in the future. The content is ideal for a Key Stage 2 assembly, but you can also join as a class, or even from home. Please join from 9:15am onwards. Webinar access will be locked at 9:35am. Please note: This assembly was released in October 2022. If a member of the Tech She Can team or one of our Tech We Can Champions has visited your school previously and delivered the ‘Tech for Helping the Planet Assembly’, or you joined our 'National Careers Week: Tech for the Planet Live Assembly' in March 2023, your students will already have engaged with this content.

British Science Week: LIVE 'Tech for Gaming and Esports' Assembly

We are proud to have supported British Science Week 2023 by delivering our BRAND NEW Tech for Gaming and Esports live assembly to more than 5,000 students across the UK. During this session,&nbsp; students explored the evolution of gaming, and the role technology plays in gaming and esports. They were also crucially introduced to a breadth of careers within the gaming and esports industries that they could pursue in the future. One of our award winning animations features in this session. The children watch our 'Katie and Tex explore VR' episode which is sponsored by our strategic partner, UST. For those who missed the live assembly, a recording is now available on our website and, whilst the content is ideal for a Key Stage 2 assembly, it can also be enjoyed as a class, or even from home.
